Fishing Trip
Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Destin Harbor, 5:30 am - 2 pm
The 30A Mensch Club Fishing Trip is officially happening — a full day dedicated to chasing fish, telling lies about fish, eating too many snacks, and arguing over whose captain “really knows the spot.” Whether you’re an experienced fisherman or the kind of guy whose biggest catch is an early dinner reservation, you are welcome aboard. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and unsolicited advice from everyone on the boat are strongly encouraged.
This trip is about good people, great company, and enough Jewish humor to make the fish swim closer just to listen. Somewhere between the first cast and the fifth snack, lifelong memories will be made — along with at least one loud debate about water conditions from a guy who has absolutely no idea what he’s talking about. So come ready to laugh, relax, and hopefully catch fish, because nobody trusts the guy who says “it’s about the experience.”

CIGARS & WHISKEY

The 30A Mensch Club Cigars & Whiskey Night has been scheduled for Sunday, June 14th at 4:30 PM. The location will be provided after you sign up for the event.
After the runaway success of our first event (or at least that's how we choose to remember it), we're back for Round Two. Whether you smoke, drink, both, or neither, come for the camaraderie, the laughs, and the opportunity to watch grown men confidently describe a whiskey as having "subtle notes of oak, leather, and poor financial decisions."
How It Works
Cigars: Bring 2 cigars — one to enjoy and one for the group exchange. Everyone leaves with a different cigar to try. Think of it as a white elephant gift exchange, except nobody pretends they're happy with what they got.
Whiskey: Bring your favorite bourbon, rye, Scotch, or whiskey to share. Prefer cocktails? Bring a pitcher of your favorite concoction and prepare to defend your recipe against a room full of self-appointed experts.
Food: Food will be served. Menu details coming soon. Depending on final plans, we may ask attendees to bring an item because nothing says fellowship like assigning side dishes.
Location: The location will be announced after you sign up. This isn't a secret society, but we'd like to keep the illusion alive.
Important: You must be a current Mensch Club member to attend. Please make sure your 2026 dues ($72) are paid. If you can't attend and still owe dues, please take care of that as soon as possible so we can close out this part of our business—and so we don't have to send Vinny from Collections. Nobody wants a visit from Vinny.
We look forward to another great afternoon of cigars, whisk(e)y, friendship, and stories that will become significantly less accurate by the end of the evening.
