Gentlemen, Monday January 12th the 30A Mensch Club will convene for another highly respectable gathering that just happens to look suspiciously like a mob sit-down. Doors open at 5:30 PM at McGuire’s Irish Pub, a place known for great pours, massive portions, and food so comforting it’s basically an Irish pub masquerading as a Jewish deli.
On the agenda (and yes, there is an agenda):
- Final planning for the Golf Tournament
- Details on a January cigar & spirits tasting (purely for educational purposes)
- Jewish Jeopardy in February — buzzers optional, trash talk guaranteed
- Early planning for May, June, and July functions, because real operations plan ahead
Expect strong opinions, louder voices as the evening progresses, and solutions that somehow get better with each round. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and nobody ever leaves hungry—physically or socially.
Come for the camaraderie, stay for the laughs, and remember: attendance is encouraged, loyalty is appreciated, and what’s discussed at McGuire’s stays at McGuire’s… unless it’s funny, in which case it’s fair game forever.
Cigars and Whiskeys Night
Sunday, January 25, 2026, 4:00 pm - location to be announced after registration 🎉 Here’s how the night will roll—and don’t forget, you must sign up to play along:
🔥 Cigars
- Everyone brings two cigars: one to smoke that night, and one to toss into the communal pot.
- We’ll do a drawing, and everyone walks away with a cigar they probably haven’t tried before. Surprise = part of the fun.
🥃 Bourbon / Scotch / Rye
- Bring your favorite Bourbon, Scotch, or Rye.
- Email Herb with the brand and exact bottle you’re bringing so we don’t all show up with the same thing (great minds think alike… too much).
- Do a little homework and be ready to share 1–2 fun minutes about where it’s made and its story.
🌿 Cigar Smarts
- Bringing cigars? Same deal—give us a quick rundown on who makes it, where it’s from, and any cool or quirky details.
🍽️ Delicious food will be provided (because thinking, smoking, and sipping is better when you’re well fed).
2nd Annual Sea Shul Scramble
Join us for a day of golf, camaraderie, and community impact at the 2nd Annual Sea Shul Scramble Golf Tournament, benefiting Sea Shul and Caring & Sharing of South Walton.
Whether you’re an avid golfer or simply enjoy a great cause and good company, this event promises a memorable experience on the course while supporting two organizations dedicated to strengthening our local community.
